CONvergence

I'm having fun at CONvergence. I attended two great panels, one on making your own movies, and another on storyboarding.

Richard and Sharon's party was good. Lottsa dark and loud parties, lottsa dark and loud bands. Jeff and several others were quite entranced by the band that played last night. We tried to read the Declaration of Independence at midnight, but Sharon had brought a facsimile edition, and it was quite hard to read. I wandered around the convention trying to find Uglyzebras to collect for the cover letter editing I did -- he got the job. ;) David and Laura showed up for a little while. I continued to check the Cthulhu coffee party for UZ.

One of the room parties. Guy who makes his own apple cider. Gave me a huge glass, but it was a wee bit too dry for me.

It's a fake backdrop. They mixed book wallpaper and cut up books that were headed for recycling, glued them on sheets of plywood(?) and stand them up for the party. They look very real.
