On my way home last night, I stopped at Tran Micro to see if they had a cheapo, on-sale case. They were on vacation. I stopped at General Nanosystems, but their cheap case selection was poor. I ran home. I've ordered one case over the internet, but I don't expect it to arrive until after the weekend.

I ran some laundry out to my aunt's and worked on another one of her puzzles for a bit. I left around 9:00 to run a pick up the Duckie box. I found a note on Laura and David's door that they'd gone shopping and that they'd drop the Duckie box off at my house. I ran home. The Duckie box was on the kitchen table. Now I just have to pick up a bunch of registration forms and I'm kinda ready for CONvergence.

The night before, I'd put the screen door back on her townhouse. They'd clad the front of the building in vinyl, and, in the process, taken off the rest of the door frame. I turned down her water heater, turned up the fridge and shut off the icemaker. The townhouse, empty since January, is still for sale. The suck-ass real estate agent's contract expires in July, and my aunt has picked another one. I certainly hope it's better than the previous one.

Plane tickets and hotel booked for Torcon.

It's weird that a townhouse could stay on the market so long. Everyone else I've heard of who's selling recently has had their house snatched up immediately - one even before if was officially on the market.

I think it's the agent. Her helpful team that painted and recarpted also didn't help (think the Three Stodges).

You realize there are a number of registration forms in the Duckie Box...

Sorry we missed you.

I bought all the parts for my new (well okay its now 2 months old) computer online; mostly at: newegg.com, googlegear, bananapc.com, and a few others...I was only dissatisfied with xioxide.com. :)
