Snowbird friend has such a deal in Florida ($100 for 100 BM + phone & cable). Up here in the frigid north, it's expensive and s l o w. I pay for city wireless, which is 6 MB, no phone, no cable. Time Warner offers 12 MB and phone and cable, but it ain't cheap.

I pay 29 euros a month. That gives me Internet plus cable plus free phone calls to any land line in the world and any cell phone in Europe or North America.

I don't know how speed is calculated. it takes me roughly half an hour to download a feature length film and about 12 minutes to download an episode of television.

http://www.speedtest.net/ will tell you. Not many deals like you've got around here...
