Of course, a rather large number of clocks have their own pipeline to WWV and too frequently decide they dislike the arbitrary settings from their silly human masters.

Our living room clock channels WWV. That's my home-town radio station, and for many years was the only thing from there that I could generally receive. Now I can get webradio.
