This graphic is interesting, but not particularly informative.

It's interesting that gun homicide rate seems to be largely independent of gun ownership levels. (Witness U.S. and Mexico have highest gun homicide rates but are on opposite ends w/regards to gun ownership.)

It would be much more interesting, however, if it included the total number of homicides per capita (all causes). Without that data it's not especially enlightening.
