What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Gabby Giffords?

We know one of 'em had a brain.

We know which one of them has half a brain.

The doctors know one had a brain.

Not "tasteless", I'd say, but "seriously bad taste" -- we won't know until the blood-clots dissolve and some re-connecting of synapses takes place, but it's reasonably certain that Ms Giffords will, for the rest of her life, have much less brain than she used to, and perhaps even less than Ms Palin.
