If you live in Our Fair Cities, it's your last chance to eat at Big E's Soul Food at 1831 Nicollet Avenue before their next (rumored) review in the Stribune. I've only eaten there once, but the jambalaya was quite fine and my mouth wanted more the next day. The staff is outstanding. They only have six tables, so getting food to go is a good idea. Getting food tonight and to go is an even better idea.

Just last week I bought the MINIMALIST Entertains. A cookbook whose introduction makes me laugh out loud twice deserved consideration. So I looked through the recipes and was intrigued enough to buy it though I own Too Many Cookbooks. Has several recipes I'm eager to try.
