Jacket

I put my ancient turquoise jacket in the washing machine. I keep hoping it will emerge immaculate, but sadly, it ain't so. In the long ago, at one Hoigards sale, I bought two ski jackets, one turquoise, one cardinal red. (I've always figured that if I pass out in a snow bank, my best hope is being easy to see.) I keep looking for replacements, but being cheap and allergic to down isn't a good combination. Putting holofill in a jacket seems to mean there's no upper limit on what you can charge for it.

I like the end-of-season sales at REI. Ski jacket liners are usually fleece rather than down, but when paired with the shells are incredibly warm.

Of course, this would necessitate waiting a couple of months to buy a new jacket....

I know I have a hard time finding a non down jacket as well.
