Krugman has a good column in today's NY Times about the Bushies attention to the budget. Article. It starts out with an Onion quote. I think he's giving everything to the rich, including Iraq, and that when he's done, he'll retire as the nation collapses around him. To bad it involves the death and suffering of so many, but hey, it's just money and income.

I'm continually amazed at how well the neocons remain on the linguistic war. I marveled at Rumsfeld's announcement yesterday that the Iraqi's made us invade them. I can't wait until we invade Saudi Arabia, Iran and North Korea. Seoul oughta make a good bonfire to toast marshmallows around as long as your stick is long enough.

Multiple uploads of scanned pictures to Drewan's site. I installed fotki's new Java loader and got the blue screen of death from a video driver. I decided maybe I should just stick with the active X one. I can run five or more instances of it with no problems and no blue screens of death (knocking on wood).

I should be going to the Illusion Theater tonight, but I don't think I'm going to. I'm still coughing too much. I hate it when others go with colds, so I try to refrain myself.

The propaganda war is amazing. The Administration continues to state that invading Iraq is somehow related to 9/11. There is absolutely no evidence for a connection, but the Administration has managed to convince something like 40% of America that Hussein was behind 9/11 simply by implying it over and over again.

I believe he suggested in his letter to Congress that after we take over the country and examine everything, he's sure they'll find something. The editor of Slate had a very scary piece about what GWB is setting himself up as.

I do think that if I were Iran or Saudi Arabia, I'd start working on a bomb right now.
