Went to see Coraline last night with
mizzlaurajean and
davidschroth. 3-D effects are wonderful. The parents that brought the young, noisy child to the movie should be taken out and shot have their movie privileges suspended for a year. The 3-D is wonderful, but hides a plot that seems a wee bit thin and threadbare. "Those are pearls that were his eyes" has become "Those are buttons that were his eyes." Fun, but not suitable for young children. Go see it at a matinée. It's not going to be nearly as exciting on DVD.
