This morning, for a discount, we went and had breakfast and listened to a sales spiel. It took longer than we could imagine because we're all from the midwest. The breakfast was great. The tour was OK. Myra did not want to walk around with the "guide", and she waited at a station where they shuttle people around. Well, she waited for a while, then got up to hope a shuttle and fell down. They dragged her to a doctor, who told her to ice it down and take lottsa ibuprofin. We found all this out when we finally got away from the sales team and arrived back at our rooms.
Myra stayed int he room, and the rest of us changed and headed out for the ocean. The beach here is rather rockey, and the sea was fairly dirty today. We thought Jamaica had a better beach, although this beach did have cabana boys who brought drinks down. After we swam for a bit and drank a bit, we wandered back up to the huge pool, stumbled out way up to the bar and sat down. One of the guys next to us ordered a rather silly coconut drink, which Judy decided she really had to have. We ended up buying two and taking one back to Myra in the room. I don't think either of them finished it, although the drink itself seemed to have enough alcohol in it to finish almsot anyone.
We finally wandered back out for food, and the three of us ate at a restaurant by the pool. Once again, it was a bit cool out with light clothing.
Then we wandered back to the rooms, and now I'm typing this out. The cybercafe here at the resort charges $7 for an hour of time, but I may connect up tomorrow. I've not taken that many pictures yet.
