Bulbs in the ground!

And with a thud, the Times hits the screen door. Waiting for the 7:00 am conference call.

Yesterday, I did not make it back out to Arcana. I did get my bulbs planted. I stuck the battery on the wrong way or something, and it just sat and blinked at me rather than charge. I also started drilling a lot of holes and then putting in the daffodil and covering it. Much faster (and less worrying about where the last bulb was planted).

Later that same morning,

We caught a matinee of Sky Captain. Needed more nekkid men. Otherwise, I was happier than I expected to be. (Going in with low expectations is a plus.) On the way back, Thong and I ate at Evergreen, which is in the space that Phuong (sp?) Cafe ustta be (24th + & Nicollet). It's Taiwan food. Rated as a hidden gem by Gourmet. It was mostly filled with college age kids when we were there. Thong ate a lot, which probably indicates it wasn't bad. I had 3-spiced chicken (hacked chicken with ginger, garlic, green onions, and hot peppers) which required a bit of work to separate out the bones. Thong had Chicken in spicy sauce, which was nice.

Be afraid; be very afraid...
