Oops, there went another month into memory. Or shot to hell, however you want to look at it.

I spent a large part of the afternoon at Arcana yesterday, not doing much. A panel or two. Spent a large part sitting and talking with Lisa Freitag, until they went out to dinner. I left around 7:00 or so and came home to eat, but then never did make it back out, or go to see Sky Captain either. Or Riverfolk. Arcana was going to do their fund-raising auction last night. While they do raise money and there was one or two things that looked interesting, they take a L O N G time. And the lobby of the Bandana Square Holiday Inn Express becomes permanently stuck in a twilight, both unpleasant with the sodium lights and hard on the eyes (well, mine, anyway).

I stopped at MicroCenter to pick up a new Norton Anti-Virus and have upgraded the license on two computers. The other one still has a few months to run.

Not sure if I'll make it back to Arcana today. I should stay here and plant bulbs. There's a hundred daffodils and several autumn crocuses to plant. I've got an auger, so even if Mary Kay won't send me her yard man, I think I can still get them in, as long as the battery holds up on the drill. (Or I'll hafta switch to the plug-in type.)

I've ran through both batteries on the drill so far and am resisting dragging out the extension cord and continuing on with a plug-in drill. I've got about half of the daffodils planted.

TV Toast

The RCA TV, which got fixed once under warrantee, is apparently toast. It won't turn on. I've always debated on whether or not this is a good thing, but in the annals of working, it seems a bad thing. At least SG is done for the season.
