Turkey day. Hope it's a good one.

Thong and I are off to Bismarck ND this morning. I figure it's a business trip. I'm carrying enough forms for everybody to sign so I hope it's a long runway. After the turkey as soon as we clear the table, we'll all be writing.

We left the house around 7:45, got to the airport, went to the wrong gate (the one NWA printed on the boarding pass) and ran across the airport to the right gate. Got on the plane and sat on the runway waiting for them to de-ice the wings.

We got into Bismarck about 20 minutes late. Myra was still waiting. We hoped in and she drove to their new place. Scott and Karen had arrived from Fargo, and Judy & her mother were there as well. We ate shortly afterwards. Turkey, rice, tons of olives, veggies, it was great. I'd brought a bottle of Zinfandel that I bought last year for the Thanksgiving at my aunt's. It was just after she was diagnosed with ALS and it wasn't a very happy time. The Zin, however, was excellent. My sister had brought two pies, one pumpkin, and one pecan. Some of us ate some of each. It was, of course, too much but fun anyway. Afterwards, we didn't do much.

Myra, Karen, and I had a massive autographing session signing the paperwork to being transferring the estate. Afterwards, we made turkey sandwiches. My sister and Scott left for Fargo, and after a bit, Myra dropped us off at the airport where we waited a bit for the plane. We walked down the stairs, out on the tarmac, and up the plane's stairs to get into it. It was a turboprop, noisy, and full of vibration, but we made it back to our fair cities a bit early, although we wandered extensively around the airport trying to get from the B concourse to the A4 Green parking ramp.
