"The American Swedish Institute and ASI Spelmanslag present their annual Midwinter Folkmusik Fest on February 21, 22, and 23, featuring master fiddlers Lars Jobs, Kungs Levi Nilsson, Alm Nils Ersson, and Sara Göte Alfredsson of Leksand, Sweden.

Concert: Friday, February 21, 7:30 PM, admission $10 ($8 for ASI members) featuring the above members of the Leksand Spelmanslag, with the ASI Spelmanslag and Lilla Spelmanslag. Refreshments will be served, followed by dancing. American Swedish Institute auditorium, 2600 Park Ave, Minneapolis.

Dance Party: Saturday, February 22, 7:30 PM, in the ASI auditorium. This is an informal event, no admission, hat will be passed. ASI auditorium.

Minor phone emergency. The cordless phone my aunt has got unplugged. She called on her cell phone, and I grabbed something to eat and ran out. Stan was there when I got there. I plugged the phone in and it started working fine. We'd both though that the batteries could have died in the handset. She's been using it all through the summer.
