Aug. 25th, 2002 10:03 pmSo much for a data access port at a hotel. It's not high speed, it's not even going to work with the modem at slow speed. I stuck the phone cable into the modem and it's working. After I picked an ISP. Of course.
David, Laura, and I arrived in San Francisco yesterday around 4:00 P.M. After significant debate, which included the amount of junk we flew in with, we took a taxi to the hotel. Last night, we went out and ate in Chinatown. It was good. This morning, we went back and had dim sum. It too was good. Then we wandered around Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiardelli Square, SFMOMA. We wandered into Japantown for dinner. Grabbed some sushi there, and taxied to the hotel. Tired.
Laura and David booked a boat to Alcatraz tomorrow. I'm planning on wandering around Castro. Rumor has it that Drewan is heading back into the city.
