Just back from CONvergence. Joe, Andrew & I watched Fellowship of the Ring again at Cinema Rex. Kewl. Although, it was actually hot.

Unless 433 comes up with enough money to buy the negatives soon, I'm going to post the picture from the CONvergence closing ceremony. I think I only counted about 500 other flashes, so if we all only charge $5 for the negatives, that's still a chunk of change. Next time 433, think simple black frock. Silver lame is just so last millennium.

Discovered I'd broken a tooth or lost like a really big filling some time on Friday afternoon/night at CONvergence. I kept up a firm belief that it could not possibly have happened, and even if it did, it didn't hurt. I also told my tongue to leave it alone, which worked some of the time. I called the dentist on Saturday morning and left a message on the answering machine. They called me around 7:30 this morning and asked if I could be there by 8:30 this morning. And, it didn't hurt over the weekend at least until the dentist poked it. Now, I've got another appointment for 6:00 tonight to get it ready for a crown. I just checked and insurance picks up 50%. Much better than nothing, but 80% seems like a much friendlier percentage...
