Never did hear from Kelly -- he called yesterday morning to ask if I could give him a ride to the airport. Came home from work late and stopped off at Lake Harriet with Laura and David. We wuz going to celebrate signing the hotel contract for Minicon. Instead, I waited for Laura to show up and dashed for home. Called Kelly, but didn't get an answer. He's off to Chicago.

Gorgeous night last night until the mosquitoes came out.

The Supreme Court continues on with the rudder locked to the right. And, this fool we have they selected, may get to anoint another one. This age is so different than the Warren years, when each case seemed to open up the world. Now, each one seems to move the world back in time. Or at least try to. Sure, it's fine to make students take drug tests, it's fine to give tax money to religious schools. I do not like how they rule.
