Winter. Nasty, cold, snow, everything the winter has not had, and we get it in March. Took 10 minutes to thaw out my little car. Drove out to visit my Aunt at the hospital. She was sleeping, so I sat and read for a bit, then talked to her, and left her to sleep.

David, Elizabeth and I went to see Technolust at the Walker. Tilda Swindon, I thought it fun, as did Elizabeth, David was less impressed. All sorts of sordid sexual stuff going on, and gross plot violations, but the look, the color, and multiple Tildas, what more could you ask for?

We ended up at the Cafe Royale, where we ustta spend hours where I ustta haunt while attending classes at the Technical College. We sat in back, and talked until the guy threw us out because he was closing.

Cool article in the NY Times, which I've yet to rescue off the frozen porch, about food in literature and sandwich memories of the writer. Three degrees fondly Fahrenheit out there this morning, and the windchill is waay below that. Winter is leaving with a vengeance.
