One month to major religious holiday. Eek! Bad time to get cable TV. Bad planning.

Found the missing garage door opener. I'd stuck it on a bucket in the basement. Now all I've gotta do is find the other one that was supposed to reappear when I got the second one. I put the little key chain version on my gift list. So, the last time I was at Menards before I found the big one, they had the key chain version back in stock. But, I didn't want to buy one in case I get it for my birthday/Xmas. Makes sense? Well, I didn't really think so either.

Speaking of Menards, they have a three-piece set of the double-walled cookie sheets on sale for $9.87. My sister, who actually bakes, says they're great for fancy butter cookies that you want to bake and not brown.

I've been planning an expedition to Crate and Barrel all weekend. Seems as if it's time to head downtown in the car and see if it's open. Then I can cross one more thing off my to-do list. 1. STC online help 2. Crate and Barrel 3. Xmas cards

I ran the Silver Moon over the bookshelves in my office, the floor in the upstairs hallway, around the doors and into the plant room. The plant room is also home to Thong's arowana. It apparently does not like me vacuuming it's room. One bump, two bump, three bump, arowana on the floor. Thrash, thrash, thrash. I grabbed it, with some difficulty, lifted it up to the aquarium level, where upon it leaped out of my hands to the top of the aquarium. I opened the other lid, and sorta pushed it in. Thong was rather upset, but I promised never to vacuum in there again. It's missing a few scales, and my sweat shirt smells like a fish mongers.

Kelly came over and we ran downtown. I wanted to do the Crate and Barrel thing, but before I left the house, he called. So I waited for him to get here, then we headed downtown. We found a parking place right next to the new Target. So we went in and wandered around, looking at men and to give the place an eye. Kelly found a bunch of stuff. I just wandered from aisle to aisle.

After Kelly paid for his stuff, we wandered across the street to Crate and Barrel. They still had the tall glasses I got the last time, so I asked 'em to box up two dozen. While they were doing that, I asked if they had any Asian type Pho bowls... Spent a bloody fortune on 12 bowls at the Asian market, and they're not microwave or lower rack dishwasher safe. And I know they'll spend half their time in the microwave. Thong's also fairly picky about the size... Well, they had some nice noodle bowls, two to a box for $15.00 with a notch in the rim for chopsticks. They're OK. They'd work, but I didn't need the chopsticks or soup spoons. And they're plain white.

After Crate and Barrel, we wandered over to Daytons Marshal Fields and cruised around for a bit, then we wandered back to Target for a pit stop and off to Quangs for dinner. We brought Thong home some chicken soup (with dark meat) and watched Queer as Folk. (British version). Still enjoyed it the second time around.
