Polly and I went to see Miss Richfield 1981 at the Illusion Theatre last night, November 23. It rocked. Her entrance was the best yet. From our premo seats in the second row, it was just about like being on stage.

Cable dude is OK, but not knocking my socks off. Maybe he'd look better without his clothes... (g) Thong's sure it's not a good idea. No body's gonna watch it. This from the guy who watches half the game shows and reruns on TV. We shall see.
Watched the first episode of the BBC's Queer as Folk. WoW. It certainly passes the nekkid man test. Trying to watch The Claim now. Having a very hard time keeping my finger off the Fast Forward button.

I pulled a toilet float valve out of the basement. It's missing the main gasket. Have to wait until the cable guy leaves and head out to Menards.
Drinking Constant Comment on a wet and cool day. I suppose I could be working on something instead of sitting here staring at the monitor.
Speaking of monitors, damn the LCDs are getting cheap. Best Buy had the Samsung 17 for around $600. It doesn't flip or have a USB hub, but I've never flipped a monitor yet, and I've got a USB hub. They also had the 15" Samsung with the TV tuner. Damn, if they'd had it in 17", it would be soo tempting. They finally got in one of the small Sharp LCD TVs, but it was way over a grand and smaller than the Samsung 15" (which was also a computer monitor). Soon.

The cable dude was looking cuter and cuter by the time he left. Thong's already threatened to cut the cable down on the outside of the house, but until he does, we've got cable all over the place.

Well, true to my own worst fears, I just finished watching a really bad movie on the SciFi channel. I also knocked a resistor or something off of my ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon as I was moving it from one computer to another. Loud Groan.
Had one remote that did not want to work, seems I'd switched it off cable... doh!
