Damn, I hate it when our national holiday falls midweek. It makes it so hard to drag myself to work the next day. Still waiting for the candy to go on sale, but guess tonight is about as late as it's safe to wait.

It's Science Tuesday in the NY Times, Buffy's on TV tonight and right afterwards, Smallville, with pretend vealcake. I reset my VCR clock last night too late for it to tape Angel, and it was a good one. Fred fighting off hyper-aggressive males was well done. Talk about passive-aggressive... The the bitch from hell actually performed a good deed -- wonder what her punishment is gonna be?

More layoffs coming at work. Things suck in the hotel industry. Anybody need a geeky tech writer? Hmm, maybe that new roof wasn't such a hot idea...
