This month draws rapidly to a close. They've still not started on the roof. Thong's getting past anxious. Still, it's almost November and the flowers are still blooming in the yard. Not too bad for Minnesota. Now if I'd just get back to working in the basement...

Blew off a chance to see K-Pax last night, and the beer bust at the Eagle. Turning into this homeguy on Sunday nights, now if it would just get me into the basement with a saw & hammer in my hand.

Fighting with one computer in the house. Installed IE 6 which did not want to work on Windows ME, and uninstalled it, now it won't run. Hmm. Getting ready to blow ME off it and put XP on for good.

I was very impressed with Dr. Henry Jenkins (http://web.mit.edu/21fms/www/faculty/henry3/) prologue at the Walker Saturday night to a program of Star Wars parodies. He'd make a great con guest, ifn he does such.
