Farmer's Market
Apr. 25th, 2010 01:03 pmIt's a cool day here in Our Fair Cities, but down Lyndale again I went to the Farmer's Market. There was a couple o' enterprising young men from southern MN with a whole heap o' morels. Let me tell you, it's a whole lot easier to buy them at the Farmer's Market than it is to tramp around and around in the woods looking for brown things amongst the left over autumn leaves. Been there, done that, and I ain't got the badge to prove it. Had other friends not been along, the following feast would have been famine, or two mushrooms divided by twelve. I shoulda bought some. Instead, I bought more thyme. Silver thyme, orange thyme, English thyme, and two versions o' lemon thyme. Everybody complains about not having enough, but no one does anything about it.
