This one of a kind home is in a fantastic Lyn/Lake neighborhood. All three stories of this beautiful home are finished, with a huge master suite on the third floor. There is a bathroom on each level, including a half-bath on the first floor. The second floor has four spacious bedrooms and a full bath. The second floor also features a patio door that leads to the amazing studio on the second floor of the garage. The remarkable garage addition is brand new, and includes a heated parking ... More

Hyperbole?

"One of a kind home" is perhaps not good wording with three identical/mirror image houses in a row. The garage, however, is unique.

"Huge master suite on the third floor" uhm, no. I thought about putting the bedroom on the third floor, but the bed ate the room, and my third floor is bigger than his third floor. Maybe if you sleep in a double bed...

"Four spacious bedrooms" on the second floor probably works if you're from New York City. I guess three nice bedrooms and a nursery ain't got the same ring to it.

Yeah, the square footage made me suspicious of the sizes implied in the description.

Ah, I love housing prices away from the left and right coasts. (My partner is on the brink of spending more than that for a perfectly nice, but much, much smaller house in the Seattle area...)

And this looks kinda expensive to me, clearly run up in the absurd price increases over the last decade here. And indeed it sold under $200k in 2000 (probably before the garage / studio / deck was built).

Our house roughly quadrupled in assessed value from 1995 to 2005, which is also absurd. Has dropped some since.

with this housing market, and it sold for 280 6 years ago, I mean seriously, how much was added to the house in the last 6 years

I'm sure it's way expensive to heat in the winter

a $100,000 garage
