Chicken Little cometh

Readers of classic science fiction may remember the “character” of Chicken Little in Pohl and Kornbluth’s The Space Merchants — a giant hunk of vat-grown meat from which slices were periodically removed to feed the masses.

Things to come

What’s going to happen, economically and politically, over the next few years? Nobody knows, of course. But I have a vision — what I think is the most likely course of events. It’s fairly grim — but not in the approved way. This vision lies behind a lot of what I’ve been writing, so it might clarify things for regular readers if I laid it out explicitly.

Policy statement

I am not now, nor have I ever been, interested in writing about Tiger Woods.

I'm with him on the policy statement. I don't find golf anywhere near as interesting as sports.
