Adding a glug or two of Grand Mariner to the hot cocoa, then quickly topping with the flavored whipped-cream (to reduce the evaporation of alcohol, as with Irish Coffee) might also be an option.
Mind you, here in Southern California, the day has been such that I'm more in the mood for /T/h/e/ /A/n/d/r/e/w/s/ rum & Coca-Cola... the ingredients for which, atypically, happen to be at hand. That will lead to taking a nap -- probably lasting through much of the afternoon -- (alcohol, like pot, now has that effect on me *sigh*) so I'll accomplish less than usual, today. And It's All Your Fault.
