It's not the worst written movie ever, but at least they've hired a talented enough cast that they can say the words without breaking up. See the John F. Kennedy do in the White House! It's just like Independence Day only with a boat! See amazing plot coincidences! See stunning special effects. See amazing plot coincidences! See stunning special effects. But, like the movie, I repeat myself. See the dove with an olive branch turn into a helicopter!

Heh. This may be among the best reviews of the movie I've seen yet. Haven't been, but most of the reviews are reveling in its unadulterated cheese, and that's kind of endearing.

*laugh* I see that my instinct (wait till it comes out on Netflix) is correct. Thanks for the mini-review...

Roger Ebert gives it three stars out of four. His contentions seems to be that it does exactly what it sets out to do, and does it quite well.

A little high

In my book. The predictability and heart-strings tugging dialog was a bit much for me and detracted from the experience.
