After watching another episode of Taken set in North Dakota, I wonder what drugs the script writer was on? Granted, I only lived in the state for thirty or so years, but I've never seen any corner like the script or the setting they showed. They did cleverly place it off I94 and I29, so there's very little chance anybody would recognize it for poor research. There are a few areas with trees, a few with rocks, but nothing I've seen even close to the setting they showed.

I had a moment like that too. And why North Dakota? There are plenty of big states out thataway where they could have staged their operation. Colorado would have been good. Idaho. Montana, even. (They needed farming country for the feed calendar tie-in, but that plot device could have easily been modified. A bank calendar would have been a good choice.)

I think it's just called B A D writing. There's only 600,000 people and a few geographers who might be able to point out it's wrong... And, how many of them are going to be watching a show on cable on two specific nights?
