Or are illegal immigrants Satan incarnate, while our Republican overlords who hire them, often at low wages, are the godlike entrepreneurs who keep this country going? More I'm so confused!

I had a weird conversation with a former catholic, now a member of some bible quoting sect. She said she'd been saced and the bible had all the answers. We got onto the subject of giving to Ceaser what was Ceaser's. She said that god said we should honor our kings and leaders. I reminded her that we'd still be British, she was a little confused at that point. Then I reminded her that the bible said that slaves should honor their masters. I asked her about that, and she actually said that slaves in biblical times were voluntary.

The gist of this is that I believe that these "overlords" do feel a sense of entitlement, and that "slaves" should honor their masters. It's just another reason I can't tolerate smug christianity.

Apparently you just haven't yet mastered the technique of holding two directly-conflicting opinons at the same time. You might try, just for practice, "The Government can't do anything as well as Private Industry can" and "If The Government establishes a public health-insurance system, it will drive the Private health-insurance companies out of business".
