Friday was Harry Potter night. Joe, Andrew, Romeo and a friend of theirs had tickets to the 9:30 Harry Potter movie at the Southdale MegaPlex. We met at 6:30 at California Pizza Kitchen, ate, wandered around Southdale, criticized the cuteness of the employees in the Apple store. (I've heard such good things about the eye-candy factor of Apple stores and Apple store employees, but Southdale's crew seems to be an exception to the rule.) The computers looked quite fine. Afterward a quick tour of Suncoast we wandered back to the theater to wait in line. Everybody else wandered off to get coffee and stuff. Andrew and I sat, second in line after a large gaggle of teenagers. Nobody found us until we stood up much closer to when they seated us.

I don't know what about the boys you would classify as good-looking, but there were two cute girls working there on opening morning. I hear they fly in a big group of the best employees from around the country for the opening week, so perhaps that's where the hottie boys all came from.

It certainly appears to have been a Harry Potter weekend in the local fannish community.
