lsandersonWe're putting on a new roof. Hope it does not rain this October much. Layering some insulation underneath to do away with or cut down on the ice dams. Don't have a full sense of how it will look yet, four or more inches higher than the current roof line. Warmer, I hope, and less use of the heating cables we've got strung out on every corner of the house's roof. I hope, I hope, I hope.
Still trying to give away a dracaena marginata -- Tony might take it if he can find a way to move it over to his place. Carol might as well. I hope somebody does before it frosts in the back yard.
Kelly's doing a party at his suburban abode Saturday, but I've got a ticket to the Walker that night for a conversation between Hanif Kureishi and A. O. Scott, the NY Times' movie critic, and an invitation to a party in Wisconsin as well. How come most times, I would have nothing to do?
Tonight is the new Star Trek, but I think I'm gonna tape it.
