This is excellent news. Please note that I am a liberal Democrat at the best of times, though I have been known to deviate from my party's core policies on occasion (and nobody would care in any event, unless it affected my vote on election day, which it usually doesn't). Specter is a decent and honorable man, and I would far rather have him with us than against us.
