Appetizers are kinda pricey ($8?). Mains run from $10 (veg) to the lower $20 for house specialties.
Heat is from 1 to 5. I ordered a three and skipped the three or so hot chilis, and it was fine. I coulda gone 4 or 5.
It's kinda dark and kinda noisy. They wanted to seat us in the bar surrounded by baseball on flat screens and I objected. The main room we sat in was kinda cool, which isn't all bad when eating hot Thai food. Lottsa stuff on the walls and lottsa lighting effects. I just wish the ceiling wasn't a pole barn metal one that bounced sound down. Parking too, which is a godsend in Uptown.
R and I ate there recently. I too thought the appetizers were overpriced. And Quang's eggrolls are better (and much cheaper) than this place's fried spring rolls.
She had some sort of curry and thought that Amazing Thailand's is better--and the prices are comparable (if anything, Amazing Thailand is a tad less). I can't remember the name of what I had, but it was mainly vegetables and the heat I picked, 3, seemed just right for that particular dish.
All in all, if we want to do Thai in that price range, we'll go to Amazing Thailand.
