I've put up pictures, mostly from the ConSuite at World Fantasy. I think I left the Hilton during the weekend on Thursday to place the order at Shuang Cheng and again on Saturday to pick up the food with Andrew. Susan, Geri, and Laura did the runs for Armegnac, Scotch, crackers, cream cheese and chips that we purchased during the Convention. I did descend down to the dealer's room and art show once, and some place in there, I picked up two T-shirts. I also wandered around during the big Friday night reception and snapped pictures of the captives and to gloat that although the reception had a larger volume of cheese, the quality in the ConSuite was far greater.

The Hilton staff were really great. I never got thrown off the freight elevators or asked why I was wandering around with a six by four foot cart. The waiters manhandled the reception food up to the ConSuite and again when the side of salmon, oysters, shrimp and crab-claws arrived. I barely used the whip at all to let him set it up and escape before the crowd ravished the plates. I did even eat an olive off the salmon plate.

With the Thursday night pizza, Pamela never did get a piece of the one vegan pizza we ordered, but each and every slice vanished. We went through approximately 10 cases of bottled bheer, including Mike's Hard Lemonade and Cranberry Lemonade, Budweiser and various other microbrews. I'd gotten lots of Fuller, which I was not very familiar with. The Boddington's and Woodchuck didn't move much, and we didn't tap the Samuel Adams Boston Lager that night.

Friday we put up signs for the tap bheer and served Thai food from the King & I. The food was delivered around 6:00 p.m. and the line in the ConSuite wasn't really that long. The table was striped bare in a vast feeding frenzy. We also held back on the bottled bheer until 10:00 p.m. Around 10:00 PNH asked if we wanted the left-overs from the TOR party when they closed, and I said we were scheduled to close at 2:00. After soundly cursing us out for overfeeding the fans so they would not eat the food they were trying to provide, he ran off and brought some of the TOR food early. Meanwhile three huge platters of food moved up from the reception, cheese, raw and roasted veggies, and a fruit platter (each one three or four foot across and heaped with food) also came up to the ConSuite. We had a four by twelve foot table covered with food. I moved the seafood back to 11 and then to 11:30. The waiter moved one of the cheese trays off to the small chest of drawers by the entrance so he could set up the sea food on the main table. I held the fans back with Thong's trusty Canon, while he arranged and unwrapped the shrimp, oysters, salmon, and crab claws, arranged the lemons, Tabasco, and cocktail sauce. When he was finished and had escaped from where he was cornered, I went back to the bar and served bheer and wine as hordes of starving people attacked the seafood.

When the TOR party closed, they sent us their pop, including the Sprite I'd tried to pawn off on them earlier, a bunch of Pepsi products and other things that increased our soda variety. They also sent their bheer, which with 18 cases and five kegs on order, we really didn't have to have. I had to call on Saturday morning and cancel the four kegs and increase the bottled water order.
