I am so deeply conflicted about Singer. He follows the same lines of ethical reasoning to conclude that people should be encouraged to terminate fetuses diagnoses with Down syndrome.

I am not conflicted. I hate his ethical reasoning. I disagree on a very fundamental level with his value system.
