Doesn't work very well in Sweden. Bye, Bye Saab? We hardly knew ya.

I was reading that story earlier and I had no idea how small Saab was! I see them around in MN fairly often, yet they apparently only sold 133k cars in their best year ever (2006)? That really surprised me.

I bet Volvo is pretty happy right now.

Figures; probably my favorite car company in the world (though I've never owned one, so maybe it doesn't really matter).

There's that. The real sweet spot for Saab buying seems to me to have been during a period when I didn't buy a car (having a perfectly good one), though.

The division that makes the jet fighters or jet engines or whatever it is they make--are they still in business? Or did they expire longer ago than the car parts? (I just don't keep up, don'tchaknow)

Si!
