I no longer think helping to move the desk yesterday morning was a good idea. The sanders are one the first floor. I'm in the bed on the second. On my back.

Sore muscles do quite the exquisite things my back, leg, and arm were doing yesterday, but thanks. I'm much better today. I can walk... I just choose not to.

If it is sore muscles (they can be quite painful, especially if you're going from a basis of no exercise to way too much), I've found the best thing to do is a little bit more exercise (half the weight and half the reps) the next day. The following day, the soreness is pretty much gone. (My suspicion is that using the muscles lets the blood circulate through them.)
