lsandersonLaura, David, Joe, Andrew, two of their friends & I watched the Hugo awards last night. It was a good performance. (And the guy who played Sauron was waay cute.) It was a very hot a sweaty experience. Ain't no air conditioning in California these days, I guess.
We ran to Starbucks to let the elevator line die down, then hoped into the express line by mistake. We moved to the regular line so we could get up to the 12th floor. Gave up on the regular line, got into the express line again, got into an elevator quickly, got out of the elevator to an elevator emptying out people, which we climbed into and road down to the 12th floor. (It seemed very funny at the time.)
After a quick shower, we went out to do parties, climbing the tower. Around two p.m., I went to volunteer in the ConSuite, and stayed until the next relief shift arrived at 6:00 a.m. Slept for a couple of hours. David had to take Dylan (his nephew) out to the airport. Now updating this and trying to figure out when to upload the latest batch of pictures. I'm something like two days behind. I did spend most of yesterday at the ConSuite, and they wouldn't allow flash pictures at the Hugo's.
