I was noticing that myself, out the window here. I suspect the commute home (and then over to St. Paul for dinner) is not going to rank among my best experiences for the year.
May very well. I've used it in the past, and for getting to Sakura it's very convenient. And 94 is already showing yellow with a few red accents from downtown to downtown.
One previous snow storm I came home on Excelsior Blvd rather than 394, too. Not sure it was faster, but it was less start-and-stop. And slower speeds, in case some idiot lost control and hit me at whatever speed he was going.
But don't go around telling everybody! It'll get crowded!
