Strikes again. Despite constant packing, one offending suitcase tipped the scale @ 53#. Somebody moved some clothes into one suitcase and then back into the then checked bag. Excitement ensued.

If you want some fun, try asking the airline if the State Department of Weights and Measures has certified their scales as "legal for use in trade".
