Yeah, having lived in Southern California for about 65 years, I find the photos of snow delightfully pretty -- but feel vaguely uncomfortable unless they're clearly framed as looking out through a window.
I suppose so, juggling time & intensity. Although ... with snow, you _know_ that it's going to happen again within a relatively short time.
And now it's time for me to head off for the Community Gardens to plant seeds or seedlings of Arugula, lettuces, beets, and edible-pod peas, mostly to be harvested in January and February.
I hope they got lots of snow. (I'm remembering Sievert Young Bear's remark, when he was out here to sing at a winter powwow some years ago, "Up there, snow's welcome because it's the warmest thing we've got during the Winter".)
