In typically American style, we had bacon and French toast (made from a wonderful fruit bread).

Coffee with cream. Vermont maple syrup. Small-batch butter. These are the simple luxuries of life.

Dilute the coffee?

I confess to drinking coffee with /c/r/e/a/m/ milk added -- but two cups of it per session. And this morning am having baklava, galactabourikos, & several other Greek pastries. (Nearby St. Nectarios' Church is having its annual Greek Festival this weekend, so I'll be pigging-out on Greek Food for at least three days (even though it's grown too large for the Church Basement Ladies to bring Home Cooking *sigh*) -- including multiple cups of /T/u/r/k/i/s/h/ strong black coffee that almost can be eaten with a fork.)

Now that's BREAKFAST. I've never really liked American breakfast, and now I can't eat it anyway.
