I caught it Thursday night at the Lagoon. Let's just say Brad Pitt steals the movie playing an airhead gym bunny. He owns the part. It's Oscar level, supporting actor if they give such nominations to such parts.

It's so unusual to see George Clooney standing beside a fucking machine along with being a fucking machine.

Hey! benveniste, debgeisler, and I ended up seeing "Burn After Reading" this afternoon after discovering the parking lot that claimed to be the road to . We'll try to get to the fair again tomorrow.

Pure farce, pure fun. For Coen brothers values of fun, hatchet and all. My own Oscar choice is for cinematography -- I thought it was brilliant throughout.

Heh. I hadn't really thought about it that way. A point.

We really enjoyed it -- which is utterly amazing, given that you weren't encouraged to like any of the characters, and then you got to watch them do stupid and rotten things, usually to each other.

But it was just a romp.
