Ted Stevens (R-Alaska), who long controlled federal spending as chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee. He made funneling money to Alaska his hallmark."
And it paid off big. She managed almost 12 million dollars of earmarks between 2000 and 2003, all for a town of less than 10,000 people. She's quite the reformer, isn't she.
