Yes, and it's an experience that all too many women and teens go through. I don't think it should have any effect on her campaign. If anything, this reinforces the right to life stance on adoption, not abortion, though it says a lot about the effectiveness of their abstinance policy.

I think you're right. I see a lot of teenage girls opting to keep their child rather than give it up for adoption. My niece was 17 when she got pregnant and her now 3 year old daughter has been a joy to all of us. There were several girls in her class who also were pregnant and chose to keep their child. Fortunately for my niece she had a very supportive family who have helped her when ever possible. That said, she has still had a tough road. My son 20 year old son told me that seeing what his cousin went through is a good example for him to use birth control.

Y'know what would make this easier on everyone?

If Sarah would just lie to everyone about it and pretend that she's really the one who is pregnant. Then, the girl would know that she should be ashamed and it would never happen again.
