Another month damn near shot to hell. Put the power supply in the pseudo-child's computer this morning and updated a bit. Big fight getting a network card to install. It would only do it on the slot the sound card is in. Baby ATX motherboard with only two PCI slots. He didn't want to blow the extra $5 on the HP powersupply. Now all I have to do is shake the $45 out of him for the one from General Nanosystems.

Good article/editorial on Philip K. Dick in today's NY Times.

Thong's younger brother, Thi -- which should be pronounced "tea" but always gets prounounced "tie" -- who ustta live with us as a demanding, high-rent, designer driven, teenage terror. Thi owns a house with Tui (who's over in Vietnam with Thong), their much older brother, out in the wilds of Bloomington.

Thong and Thi escaped from Vietnam together and spent time in a Thai refugee camp before they were allowed into the U.S. Thi got his citizenship early in 2001.
