NANCY J. ONDRA named her home Hayefield because she built the house and the garden right in the middle of one, and let the cedars, which naturally seed themselves into old fields, dot the grassy meadow. She bought these four acres in southeastern Pennsylvania eight years ago from her parents, Joseph and Ethel Ondra, who live around the corner on 40 acres that her grandfather once farmed. More

From the photos, it's nice to discover that that thing I keep seeing along roadsides south of home is called teasel. I don't think we have it in MN, and, while I've heard of teasel, I didn't know the thing I was seeing was it.
