There was a definite ellipse at the end of that sentence. While I'm sure that it wouldn't change my opinion of him much, if at all, I'd like to hear what he said. I dislike ads like this in the extreme- it's the same way the Repugs misused footage of Michelle Obama in the "I've never been proud of my country before" ad.

I think that's as much as he said. No ellipse, just a sound ducking of the question, disregarding his vote on the issue, but then at his age, you hafta expect things like that.
