Ugh. I know that feeling, seeing that mark. They got the tree in our back yard right after we moved into this place.

Ah the early morning smartass has begun...my apologies-losing good trees sucks. We have 3 that may have to come down because straight line winds + rain soaked ground was not a good combination.
